It's hard to believe it's already the 12th of May. Where did the time go? It seems like it was just yesterday I so intently watching the news for a glimpse of Elton John playing for the New Year.
There are approximately three school weeks until graduation, which is likewise hard to believe (I showed the school proof that I was indeed born at some point in time, so I can once again move forward with whatever plans I may have in life). I took the AP Literature and Composition exam last week... hopefully I did well on it, as I felt like I knew the material, but we all know how that tends to work out- when you think you know something, only to be returned a paper with a less-than-ideal grade.
I will likely be exempt from all my exams, so I'm pretty much just waiting out the year until the eleventh of June.
Looking at my gallery, it seems I've done so little art within the past 5 months.

Even in school... I've only completed 2/8 projects required for art class (though I have been helping with other things, such as paining leotards for a dance and other art-related things which have compensated for the lack of portfolio pieces). It's not that I'm not doing any art- I'm just not doing what I
should be doing, which I hate. I really need to set my priorities straight.
In other news, I've seemed to efficiently get rid of my admirers. The latest one has disappeared from my friends list, and hasn't texted me in a week or so. Can't complain though- I say good riddance.

I have also started registering for college classes. I could not take the required First Year Experience course I wanted because it was full already (Privilege and Oppression: Race, Sex, and the Power of Ordinary Illusions), so I'm taking the Birth of Science Fiction instead (I know, you are probably thinking "WTH? That's random)... it seemed interesting to me. I also did not do well in my French placement test (despite four years of French. Ironically, I could understand for the most part what the stories were about- I just couldn't understand the questions... which were in English. Epic fail, much?), so I have to figure in time for French 101 and a math course since my SAT score did not place me out of that.
I'm a bit in a jam at the moment because I cannot find a class that would work for my required classes, my major, or a possible minor (currently looking into Women's Studies) that does not conflict with my current schedule. Quite saddening, really... there's so many classes I'd like to take, but I just can't.
Devious Comments
and yay for school ending! 3 weeks for me too, i can't wait to get to sleep all day. i'll probably get even more depressed during the summer though, since i won't even be able to see any school friends, who are like the only real people i ever interact with anymore for about 20 minutes a day 5 days a week. x.x
And I have the same problem with schedualing, except I just want to take like, all of the possible electives. My high school refuses to make it so you can take band, psych and six art classes in one school year.
